Cherry Beach Toronto
Cherry Beach is located just east of the downtown Toronto core. It would be a long walk to Cherry Beach if you’re downtown but fortunately the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) provides a bus service from downtown that drops you off right at Cherry Beach. Look for bus route 72B Pape which can be picked up around Yonge Street and Front Street. This bus operates to Cherry Beach from mid-May until Labour Day
Also, there is plenty of free parking if you’re planning on driving. If you have a bike, there is a great bike trail that you can follow and there are places to lock your bike up, too. Once you’re at Cherry Beach, you can go swimming, parasailing, hiking or you can just sit on the beach at soak in the sun. There is also a food kiosk in case you get hungry.
