Medieval Times Toronto

How do you explain Medieval Times to someone who has never been?I’ve attended the Toronto location twice in the past year and love it. There are also locations in California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Illinois, Maryland and New Jersey. Medieval Times is a 11th century-themed theatre that combines dinner with a show. Specifically, you’ll see knights, horses (yes, real horses!), jousting, javelin throwing as well as other exhibits of skill involving axes, swords and other medieval weaponry.
The show is structured around a tournament to choose a new knight and features the classic theme of good versus evil. Each knight taking part in the tournament is color-coordinated and each audience member is seated in an area matching the color of one of the knights so that each section of the audience cheers for “their” knight.
Then there is the issue of the food! Before the show starts, the food begins to be delivered to you and continues throughout the show. Garlic bread, soup, roasted chicken, spare rib, potato, pastry and a beverage of your choice are delivered to you by your serving wench (!) during the show. Best of all, there are no utensils! You’re in medieval times remember so you’ll be eating with your fingers with no benefit of fork or knife. It’s lots of fun. To learn more, check out the Medieval Times Toronto website. The Toronto location is located in Exhibition Place in downtown Toronto near Ontario Place. Often, you’ll find money saving coupons for the event right on the Toronto website and group rates are offered too. Medieval Times Toronto: Phone: 416 260-1676 or Toll Free: 1-888-WE-JOUST
