Toronto Restaurants

There are far too many great Toronto restaurants to list on this page.

Toronto has one of the widest ranges of restaurants that you will find anywhere and we have a great restaurant district on King Street West in the downtown core with plenty of choices.

In a nutshell, you’ll find African, Arabic, Chinese, French, Greek, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, Thai and many other types of restaurants in the downtown area.

You’ll find plenty of casual dining, formal dining, supper clubs, private dining, pubs, seafood, steakhouses and other options as well.

Again, there are far too many Toronto restaurants to list but what I’d like to do is make a few suggestions and to also make you aware of several chains of Canadian restaurants that you might consider trying while you’re here, restaurants that might not be available in your country.

Here are a few major Canadian restaurant chains that you’ll find throughout Toronto and that happen to be some of my personal favorites! Each of these restaurants have various locations throughout the city and are usually easily found:

Swiss Chalet: Known for their chicken and French fries, Swiss Chalet also offers many other food options and is great for individuals and families, too.

The Keg Steakhouse: Just like the name says, they offer steaks as well as seafood and have reasonable prices especially when compared to more expensive steakhouses. One of my favorites!

Mandarin: An all-you-can-eat Chinese food restaurant, this is one of my favorite restaurants of all time! They have one of the largest and maybe THE largest Chinese buffets you’ll ever find and the quality of food is excellent. The staff are always extremely friendly, too.

Harveys Hamburgers: A Canadian hamburger restaurant chain, Harveys offers charbroiled hamburgers, great fries, chicken burgers, shakes and many other options too.

Mister Sub: A Canadian submarine sandwich shop, this is a great choice if you’re looking for healthy food at a decent price and in a short period of time.
